In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine group.
The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
